As its name suggests, Fractured Circles is a remarkable reinterpretation of the legendary Nine Circles level. It greets players with an explosion of color, featuring a lively opening filled with intricate decorations. The journey takes a thrilling turn as you transition into a wave segment, characterized by a color scheme reminiscent of the renowned Figures level. However, this time, the colors are brighter and skew closer to an enchanting shade of pink. The level is a playground of trick orbs, cleverly placed fake lines, gravity portals, and it calls for deft mashing skills. Despite these challenges, it offers a more approachable difficulty compared to the infamous Nine Circles. Artimiel breathed life into this creation during the early summer of 2015. It is often considered one of the easier Nine Circles levels, fittingly earning its reputation as an Easy-Medium Demon.
0-9%: The journey commences with a straightforward cube section, incorporating a few tricks, fake lines, and jump orbs hidden within gravity portals. Despite these elements, this section maintains a reasonable level of accessibility.
10-15%: A double-speed ball segment follows, offering a quick succession of challenges that are still relatively manageable compared to the cube section.
16-25%: Things take an intense turn as you encounter a triple-speed cube segment. Here, the combination of high speed and troll jump orbs creates a formidable challenge. The cube transitions to auto mode at 22%, followed by a shift to mini size and half speed. Players must navigate through two pairs of spikes during this segment. At 74%, the wave reverts to triple speed for the remainder of this exhilarating phase, complete with tight spaces and size variations.
26-77%: As the beat drops, you'll find yourself navigating a Nine Circles-inspired triple-speed wave segment. This section is riddled with speed changes, mashing challenges, and tight spaces. At 43%, the wave shifts to mini size and anti-gravity mode, adding another layer of complexity. Expect more fake lines, gravity portals, and speed alterations. The climax arrives with a mashing segment at half speed, followed by a triple-speed change and a single-speed or dual portal, both featuring incredibly tight spaces.
78-89%: The final stretch presents a brief half-speed ship sequence. At 79%, the pace accelerates to triple speed as players must navigate one last set of spikes. The journey continues with an epilepsy-inducing triple-speed cube section at 83%, where players must hit a series of jump orbs before encountering a half-speed portal.
90-100%: The concluding moments unfold in a half-speed cube section. As you approach 100%, the word "NICE!" greets you. Beneath it, a pair of pink-colored spikes awaits. Players must expertly jump on four identical sets of spikes (five in total) to complete the level. As the journey concludes, you'll be treated to the text "ARTIMIEL," "CHECK OUT MY OTHER LEVELS," and "GG," signifying your triumphant finish.
